The Center for Ethics is a proud sponsor of the Georgia Laws of Life essay contest. Sir John Templeton created the Laws of Life Essay Contest back in 1987. The goal of this program is to provide young people with the opportunity to reflect and write about their own values.

Often called wise sayings or maxims, the laws of life transcend religions, cultures, and national borders. They reveal the core values that make up our character, and they provide us with a moral compass as we journey through life.
