Who should apply?

Emory University’s Master of Arts in Bioethics is a career-enhancing graduate degree that is ideal for those that are interested in the social and ethical challenges facing medicine, health and the life sciences and want to be best prepared to respond to these challenges.  These challenges have attracted a diverse range of students to our program including mid-career professionals (e.g. healthcare providers and researchers) as well as post-baccalaureate students transitioning into further postgraduate study.  Our alumni work as medical ethicists, researchers, regulatory managers and compliance officers in organizations such as the Grady Health System, Emory Hospital, Marcus Autism Center and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.  If these challenges or possible career paths interest you, we urge you to consider applying to our program.
