Welcome New Students!

Emory undergraduates are a major focus of the programs at the Center for Ethics. The essence of liberal learning is character formation and development.  From learning teamwork while running rapids in the Smokies to developing political civility while debating presidential candidates, the Center for Ethics plays a major role in that formation.

The Center for Ethics, therefore, welcomes and encourages participation, and involvement from Emory undergraduates.  Whether you are passionate, curious, or confused about pressing moral, social, and political issues, the Center for Ethics,1531 Dickey Drive, first floor (the Center for Ethics/Candler School of Theology Building) invites you to explore our programming.

Gather with other curious minds in the EASL Forum, hang out and engage issues at Ethics at the Movies, join the Ethics Bowl team, hear an exciting speaker, declare an Ethics Minor, experience the intersection of art, ethics, and social issues at the Free Speech Art Café, or pursue a passion (or perhaps just an interest) in the Servant Leader Summer Internship Program.

The Center for Ethics has a place for you whatever your area of study, whatever your interests.  Come join us.

To get started, you can meet us during orientation at the information fair on Saturday, August 22 between 9:00-3:00 and on Monday, August 24 at the Co-curricular Information session Monday afternoon.Block party
Also, on Wednesday, August 26 from 6:00-8:00 we invite you to join us for a special Center for Ethics “Orientation Block Party”.  Join us for food, music, and fun.
