The Emory Scholars Program, in collaboration with the Center for Ethics, established the Bobbi Patterson Award for Service, to recognize Professor Bobbi Patterson, the former director of Emory Scholars, through whose efforts the Scholars and Service Program was created and who has been a tireless advocate for service learning on Emory’s campus. The award supports the recipient’s participation in the Servant Leader Summer Internship Program. The Bobbi Patterson Award for Service is granted to an Emory Scholar who exemplifies Bobbi’s commitment to service learning and to servant leadership and who will work toward communication and collaboration between the EASL Program and the Scholars and Service Program during the summer.
